Engaging Tactical RPG in a Dark Fantasy Setting
PRELUDE DARK PAIN is a turn-based Tactical RPG that immerses players in a dark fantasy realm known as Statera. Players take on the role of Soren, an ancient warrior turned blacksmith, who must lead a band of heroes against the oppressive Order of the Ashen Crusade. With over 20 playable heroes, each boasting two talent branches and a diverse skill pool, players can strategically design their squad to face various challenges. The game emphasizes resource management and strategic planning, allowing players to select heroes from eight different classes, including DPS, Support, and Assassins, to devise powerful combos in battles.
The narrative unfolds against the backdrop of a land ravaged by an ancient evil, where players must navigate through a web of choices that impact the story and hero recruitment. In addition to a compelling main quest, the game features numerous side quests, termed WORLD MISSIONS, which enrich the lore and help in gathering more heroes. Players also manage their settlement to craft essential equipment and send heroes on missions, adding layers of strategy as heroes cannot be summoned for battle immediately after being dispatched.
